It’s too late in the summer to “officially” register for the course, but Ian tells me anyone may begin at any time. He’ll leave comment options open for people who would like to participate, even if they missed registration.

I love this method of education!

This is the reason I have a hard time cutting out all these briers. Well, this AND the fact that a few birds usually build nests in there.

My hillside is usually covered with raspberries and blackberries. If they didn’t try to totally take over my yard, I wouldn’t mind it! Stinks trying to untangle a shih tzu from berry briers though. She doesn’t like it either!

Meet R2D2. I wanted a new grill and just couldn’t pass this one up.

Since mom hasn’t had time to start a Facebook account, I asked old friends I’m in contact with again who would like to swing by here and say hi to my mom. I got a thumbs up and a message within the hour and a couple of private messages by the end of the day

Here’s your chance! Mom usually checks messages on here when she checks her e-mail, which is very early morning or on Tuesdays, her day off. I’ll be sure to toss her an e-mail when new replies are posted!
