New Flower Pictures

Here is my first Rose of Sharon bloom for this year. I discovered it the night BK went with us to the movies so I snapped a pic of it around midnight or so As with all of my pictures, click to make them bigger.. then click again to make them HUGE!

Here is the same Rose of Sharon today!

Here’s a closeup to show you the very slight differences in color. This is actually 4 relatively small bushes planted closely together. You can see in this pic how the bloom closer to the bottom is pinker than the purple-looking blooms near the top.

I LOVE the color of these double hollyhocks!

Some of my gladiolas are blooming but falling over. It’s been too rainy lately to stake them up and of course they bloom now!

Here’s a totally random picture of my flower garden. Here you see at least 8 varieties of flowers in one area! I love my randomness

Today while I was out, this little guy caught my attention. I thought it was absolutely beautiful on those bright purple flowers!
