WoW… What a birthday…

As (almost) planned, we had an almost birthday party in WoW Originally he’d wanted to get everyone together at the old Inn in Stormwind but as we said before, we’re talking about getting people from all across the US, some from Canada and some from Australia together… at the same time.

What was I thinking??

So here’s how his birthday actually went down:

We all logged into WoW, I was standing by Orton Bennet to give him the mushroom meatloaf he’d ordered:

Jeff was excited to see what his dragon egg had hatched into. Unfortunately it was only a bad yolk. He didn’t get the little whelpling pet or the proto drake mount. He was disappointed but it was funny at the same time. His comment was something like “pfft figures I’d get an egg yolk for my birthday instead of a proto drake” followed by quite a lot of laughter and:

So I made cupcakes and bought chocolate cake (with bunches of candles!)

I handed out several cupcakes, ice cream and drinks to the friends who met us at the dungeon. Nothing like a raid on very mean creatures to celebrate, right??

We shot off fireworks:

And several people wished Jeff (aka Soleron) a happy birthday:

Then we were successful in defeating a difficult giant that took about 4 hours to kill. Again, Sycon with the raid warning lol:

Jeff thanked everyone and Lilli brought up an interesting … ok FUNNY idea:

But, after a good laugh, we decided that probably wasn’t a good idea
