As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve added the NaNoWriMo block to the right hand side of the page. You may click there (or the link in the previous sentence) to check out my novel progress. The challenge lasts throughout the month of November and I’m very excited to be taking part in it this year! If you notice I’m not online as much as usual, just imagine me sitting here all caffeinated with bloodshot eyes and bandaids on my poor aching fingers
50,000 words in one month is about 1660 words per day on average. (about three typed pages)
Wish me luck!!

Oh yeah. Patrick’s first day of work yesterday went GREAT! They made sure all their paperwork was in order, briefly looked over a few things and looked into benefits

That’s a big undertaking! I wish you all the best of luck. I’ve never heard of this nanowrimo thing before. I checked out the site. Very cool! I like the fact that they encourage this month of writing with total abandon. I’ve done that before, when you don’t pay attention to anything but getting the thoughts and creativity out and screw the grammar. You get a lot of cheesy stuff, but then there’s some solid stuff and some nuggets of gold that surprise you, too. It’s really the best way to write. To just do it and worry about the grammar and everything later. Keep us posted on how it’s going! I’m very excited for you!
I’m almost surprised you got their site to come up
It’s having some pretty serious issues lately. I mean can you imagine having more than 109 million words uploaded to your site within 3 days? Pretty crazy stuff! I’m LOVING it so far though!!
