This video absolutely blew my mind!! How about education and job creation? It honestly worries me that people like him are involved with decisions that impact an entire state.
Someone made the comment that he was the Jessica Simpson of Louisiana’s legislature. I have to say, I think Jessica has more sense than to try to force sterilization on an entire state’s population of poor people. I’m all for forced sterilization in cases of child abuse like the abuse my adopted sister endured as a toddler. But to force sterilization because someone doesn’t have the money to move at the whim of nature’s fury is so far beyond ridiculous it isn’t even funny!
If “generational welfare” is such an issue, create more jobs! Make it so that when kids get out of high school or are working their way through school they actually HAVE a job to go to! Or maybe talk things over with health care officials and see if they can offer free tubal ligations or vasectomies. But notice vasectomies were never mentioned, only tubal ligations.

I love that when asked about the statistics of Louisiana this man totally dodged the reporter’s question. Just like a politician, eh?
And as far as the vasectomies, you can bet they’ll come up with a plan for that, too. But the checks will be no less than $5000.
Tubal Ligation: $1000
Vasectomy: $5000
