We were up way too late last night to have to get up at 6am. Then we realized Patrick hadn’t reset the alarm part of the clock yesterday when we overslept, he’d reset the clock part. So we got up an extra half hour earlier than we intended this morning. Oh well, I guess things happen
And as the subject line suggests, I made some strong coffee this morning, so the world’s all better now
So why were we up so late last night?
We finished our JavaScript homework! We had a lot of help, but we still did most of it on our own. I can’t wait to see our grades. Our professor’s mother fell and broke her hip a few weeks ago, so he’s behind on scoring things. He hopes to get caught up this weekend. I’m really nervous, but I know I shouldn’t be. We tested all of our work to make sure it was functioning properly. Everything was functional when we submitted it. Professor Coeburn said he didn’t necessarily expect fully working web pages and websites to be submitted, but since we were already familiar with web design, ours were. The JavaScript was a bit more difficult, but we made it through it.
Anyway, if you’re interested in what we’ve been doing for homework, have a look:
Project 1 – opens best in Internet Explorer (not Firefox)
Project 2 – opens best in Internet Explorer (not Firefox)
Project 3 – opens and functions best in Internet Explorer. Firefox tries to cheat! (but it DOES work in firefox
)
Project 4 – opens best in Firefox. The order total window doesn’t work properly in Internet Explorer.
Project 5 – opens beautifully in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.
So there you have it. Those 5 projects over a 5 week period. It was rough at times, but we learned a lot in the process.
I have 8 articles to do today! Well, I could push a few of them off till monday but then I’d miss tonight’s billing cycle LOL! I want to get paid for them on the 7th, so I have to send the invoice by tonight.
The Project Coordinator position they were hiring for was filled very quickly. I waited a couple of days before expressing my interest and they filled it by the time I said anything. Next time I won’t procrastinate or second-guess myself!
