Can you believe that? Twelve Million Dollars!
Ok yeah you’re asking yourself what the heck I’m talking about. Harry Potter. Opening Night. Midnight Showing (the one we went to). It’s first night, Harry Potter & The Order of the Phoenix brought in a whopping 12 million dollars. Layla from G4tv said it’s the largest opening night of any movie EVER!
We’re going back tomorrow to take the kids
They’ve been at mom’s all week so they didn’t get to go with us. Obviously I totally recommend it to anyone with kids over about 10. I don’t think I’d take a very small child to see it, but it’s awesome

I took Tayten (age 9) to see this on Sunday – we both loved it! She even commented that Harry was cute – that’s a lot coming from a beautiful girl that vows she’ll hate boys forever!
I must admit…I did she the sexy side of Harry.
I LOVED IT! Trinity cried because I wouldn’t take her even though I told her she wouldn’t care for it too much.
Yeah, I didn’t have any qualms about taking both of my kids. But in all honesty I don’t think I would have taken a child under about 8ish, depending on their maturity level of course. This one was very good, and had a darker, deeper magical side.
Hey Harry IS getting older!
LOL!
Speaking of girls who vow to hate boys forever… Yes, Brittany. She’s very independent, but lately she has started noticing guys too. When I planned to go get them from mom on Saturday she said “Brittany wants to go to church with us this evening for the music” I agreed to meet them later that night. When we got in the Durango of course I had alternative music going, she turned it up and complained that the only music they’d listened to all week at mom’s was “twanga twang twang” (her words, not mine). I said “ahhh well grandmama seems to think you love her kind of music, it was your idea to stay later tonight.” She smiled and said “well, there was another reason I wanted to go back to her church tonight.” I said “oh yeah, what was his name?” She smiled and said “Dillon” LOL!!! I asked if they at least exchanged phone numbers or emails, she said no so I don’t know just how interested she was, but at least enough to go to church with mom to.. um.. “listen to music…”
